L'UNE COLLECTION
Working with plastic was something Anh Volcek learned while working in Paris. Today, she has adapted the technique to melt and mold into oversized sequins. bustiers, and jewelry. The plastic is treated with different chemicals to make it hard by curing it or to keep it flexible. In Spring 2012, glasswork was added into the line.

MIR & MOOKHI is focused on carefully detailing hi-tech fabric ranging from Chiffon, Charmeuse Silk and Cashmere, Each piece is specially crafted with 100% hand-made embroidery which creates one of a kind look.
MICHA DESIGN
All designs are hand made by Micha Design.  Instead of working from a sketch, the materials determine the design. Finding a majority of the treasures from her travels, she uses offbeat materials, like doorknockers, doilies, rope, rusty hardware, and broken vintage pieces to name a few. All are particularly appealing to the designer as they illustrate beauty does come in many forms and proving someone does not have to sacrifice it to be fashion forward and "go green". Semi precious stones such as howlite, coral and agate also reflect Micha's love of nature and the environment. One of the coolest aspects to this process is that in the end you will find that, every unique piece you wear has a history all it's own.
MICHAEL COSTELLO

In the most recent season 8 of iconic model Heidi Klums fashion competition, Palm Springs Michael Costello captured that distinction. Just missing the third slot for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week finale in New York, he nevertheless made a name for himself beyond the East and West coasts. The future looks bright for the 27-year-old, who opened his first boutique in Palm Springs at the age of 15.
At the age of 16, following a one-year internship with Mackie, Costello took a job designing clothes for Claires Collection, the design house responsible for gowns seen on red carpets at Emmy, Oscar, and Grammy award ceremonies; on Wheel of Fortune and The Price is Right; and in Miss America and Miss USA pageants.

Even prior to Project Runway, Costello gained critical acclaim for his fashion creativity (Vogue included him in an article titled Los Angeles Hidden Talent). Celebrities whose reputations rely in part on looking stylish have sought him out. Toni Braxton, Paulina Rubio, Paris Hilton, Selma Hayek, Mary J. Blige, Nicole Richie, Celine Dion, Mya, and Livvi Franc have worn his designs.

In 2009, Costello presented his first collection for LA Fashion Week at BOXeight Studios. Later that year, he auditioned for Season 8 of Lifetimes Project Runway. That show brought national attention to Palm Springs when Gunn and a production team visited Costello to see the collection hed created for the Fashion Week finale. And although his collection was not televised as part of the finale, it was shown on a Fashion Week runway at Lincoln Center. The next morning, Costello made the front page of The New York Times. In late 2010 and early this year, the young designer has been working on a resort collection that offers women effortless chic  a concept that fits the desert resort communities like a couture design on a runway model.

ROMAN & RAMIREZ
Kenneth Roman and Jose Ramirez

Two designers that teamed up to bring out the best in each other in such a harmonious way. Both currently attend the Art Institute of California - Hollywood, both going for their B.A. After meeting three years ago, they have been inseparable ever since.

Roman & Ramirez definitely go for a more Avant-Garde feel, anything that we find different and interesting. They focus not on dressing people, but reinventing them, with concentration on unconventionality, and shapes that are obscure. There is never a dull moment with Roman & Ramirez designs (their clothes are definitely for the brave at heart). They do everything that goes into creating clothing (sketching, pattern making, and sewing.)
